Adoption Application
We Still Need Forever Homes!
While Itty Bitty Kitten Rescue as an organization is no longer accepting adoption applications, we have partnered with Scott County Humane Society to find forever homes for our last three IBKR family members. These lovely babies are eager to meet the family that will embrace them as their own and love them for life... and they've been waiting patiently.
If you are interested in adopting Basil or Clove who are still seeking their forever homes, please contact Scott County Humane Society (502.863.3279) to apply.
Basil (M)
Just a little younger than his foster siblings, Basil is the perfect mix of playful energy and heart-melting affection. Raised as a bottle baby from day one, he’s a total momma’s boy with a deep bond to his humans—and a serious talent for stealing hearts.

Basil is always up for a game or kitten adventure, but when it’s time to wind down, he’s looking for love. His favorite spot? Perched on his foster mom’s shoulder while she works—keeping an eye on everything and soaking up all the attention.

He’s also had some positive interactions with dogs and is handling them like a champ, making him a great candidate for a home with a respectful pup.
And did we mention the bedhead? Basil rocked the most adorable messy fur for weeks, and though it’s finally smoothed out, the cuteness is definitely here to stay.

If you're looking for a playful, affectionate kitten who loves snuggles, shoulder rides, and would be happy in a multi-species household, Basil is your guy!
I am a Feline Leukemia positive kitty, so I'm only supposed to hang out with other feline leukemia kitties like me or ones that are vaccinated for Feline Leukemia. Feline Leukemia also means that I will most likely have a shorter life span than most cats, but I will be your best friend for all of it!
Clove (M)
Clove is a cuddle expert who’s ready to steal your heart—and your lap! This sweet boy is the ultimate companion: calm, affectionate, and always ready for a cozy nap. He loves being held and will happily curl up on your chest while you work, making him the perfect remote work partner.

While Clove enjoys a bit of playtime, his true talent lies in his snuggling skills. He’s gentle, mellow, and adapts well to his environment. He’s had limited interaction with dogs but seems comfortable around them so far.

If you're looking for a loving, laid-back kitten who just wants to be close to you, Clove might be your perfect match. Adopt him and gain a lifelong little shadow!
